Sending Money from Russia to Argentina with USDT: RUB → USDT → ARS
A RUB → USDT → ARS route consists of two separate exchanges: first converting rubles to USDT, then converting USDT to Argentine pesos. It is not one direct bank transfer, and each step has its own quote, limits, payment instructions and processing conditions.
How the two-step route works
In the first exchange, RUB is converted to USDT and delivered to a wallet on the network specified for that transaction. In the second exchange, USDT is sent to a deposit address and ARS is paid to the recipient account entered for that request.
The two exchanges may be provided by different platforms. If using a single service for both legs, create and review each request separately; the first quote does not set the rate or terms for the second.
Compare the final ARS amount
Estimate the whole route using the current RUB to USDT quote and the current USDT to ARS quote. Include any payment, withdrawal or network costs that apply along the way. Comparing only the first exchange rate does not show how many pesos will reach the recipient.
Rates, limits and availability can change between the two steps. Check both before starting and use the amounts shown on the active requests rather than a general market price.
Check the network and each recipient detail
The network used to receive USDT in the first step must match the network accepted for the second step. Confirm the network, wallet address, token and amount before sending; the asset name alone is not enough to identify a network.
Keep the payment records and transaction IDs for both exchanges. Check that the services and route are available to you and follow their terms and the requirements that apply where you live.
